The iqf avocado processing line is a highly automated, continuous processing system designed to process large quantities of fresh avocados into a frozen product of uniform specifications, stable quality, and easy storage and transportation. The fiqf processing line for avocado integrates multiple steps, including washing, peeling and pitting, dicing, cleaning, dehydration, quick freezing, and packaging, strictly adhering to food safety standards.

Iqf Avocado Processing Line Processing Flow
1. Peeling

1. Peeling

Avocados enter the automated peeling and pitting equipment, where a robotic arm precisely separates the peel, pit, and flesh, eliminating the waste and contamination associated with manual handling.

2. Cutting

2. Cutting

The peeled halves or whole fruit are fed into a dicer. This machine first cuts the fruit into strips, then uses a cross-cutting blade grid to cut it into evenly sized cubes.

3.Washing

3.Washing

Place the diced avocado in the cleaning tank, and introduce compressed air into the bottom of the tank to generate bubbles. The bubbles stir the diced avocado to fully contact the cleaning liquid, removing the surface juice and debris.

4. Water removal

4. Water removal

After washing, the diced avocados have a lot of moisture on the surface, which must be removed. This is usually done using a vibrating dehydrator. This removes the moisture from the avocados' surface by vibrating.

5. Frozen

5. Frozen

Avocado cubes are transported via a conveyor belt into an Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) tunnel. Circulating intense cold air at -35°C to -40°C, they freeze within minutes. IQF technology ensures each cube is frozen individually, preventing clumping and facilitating subsequent packaging and use.

5. Packaging

5. Packaging

Using an automatic filling machine, diced avocados are placed into inner bags according to a preset weight (e.g., 500g, 1kg). The air in the bag is then evacuated and replaced with nitrogen (N₂) or a mixture of nitrogen and carbon dioxide (CO₂). This replaces the oxygen, significantly delaying oxidative rancidity and browning.

Iqf Avocado Processing Line Core Advantages

1. High productivity, low waste, and reduced production costs

The iqf avocado processing line utilizes a fully automated design, with a single line capable of producing 5-20 tons per day (customizable depending on configuration), far exceeding manual processing efficiency. Automated peeling, core removal, and precision cutting processes significantly reduce raw material costs.

2. Stable quality, ensuring product consistency

Through ultra-low temperature quick freezing, continuous low-temperature control, and multiple testing steps, the frozen avocados produced on this iqf processing line for avocado are virtually identical to fresh avocados in nutritional content and taste, ensuring highly consistent quality from batch to batch.

3. Extended shelf life, breaking seasonal and regional restrictions

Fresh avocados can only be stored for 3-5 days at room temperature, while frozen avocados can be kept for 12-24 months under standard storage conditions. Companies no longer have to worry about slow sales during peak season and shortages during off-season, ensuring a stable supply year-round.

4. Flexible adaptation to diverse products, expanding market potential

The production line can flexibly produce a variety of products, including whole frozen avocados, chunks, diced avocados, and pureed avocados, tailored to customer needs. This helps companies expand their product portfolio and capture niche market segments.

5. Intelligent and easy operation, reducing management complexity

The frozen avocado production line is equipped with a PLC control system, enabling parameter settings, process monitoring, and fault alarms via a touchscreen interface. Operators can begin operations after simple training, eliminating the need for specialized technical personnel.
